Proven Success
My story…
Arriving in London as a South African Chartered Accountant during the challenging time of 2008 was incredibly revealing. What became apparently obvious to me was that as a CA in the UK, one found it difficult to work cross-sector in different companies. I am of the opinion that the reason for this belief is the notion that expertise is only evidenced by longevity in one sector or in one type of role.
It was my desire to challenge this business practice.
At the same time, I took the view that there would be difficult years ahead for businesses due to various external market and political forces.
Businesses now require finance professionals who can deliver across multiple disciplines, effectively navigating changing circumstances and at an affordable cost to company. Our business model fully meets this challenge, and we are in a perfect position to fill the role as CFO/FD, analyst, and advisor in one package with the flexibility to operate in larger and smaller companies.
I have spent the last 18 years developing the necessary skills and capabilities to walk into almost any company, within any sector, given any set of circumstances, with limited available company resources, and deliver financial output for the benefit of the company and stakeholders.
3:16 Consulting was born out of this journey and the goal is to deliver a service offering that is adaptive, affordable, and unique in the market for part-time finance professionals. I am proud of our track record in delivering value and look forward to working with you.
